Raving Reviews
These are word for word emails, letters, and videos that I have received from the families of my puppies. THIS is why I raise puppies! I love spreading the JOY!
"Loving Leona" - an Adult purebred Maltese Female
Hi Shari! I just wanted to give you an update on Leona (who we now call Denali because her beautiful white coat reminds of us winter and Alaska). She has been the ruler of the house since the first night. The crate lasted one night and now she sleeps in bed with us (which we said we weren't going to do) and is a perfect little angel. She has not had a single accident in the apartment and she stole the show with the family when we took her home for Christmas with us. She met so many new people and got so much loving from them all. She did so well in such a big crowd. What a ham she was! Her stocking was stuffed full and she has so many new toys she can't decide what to play with sometimes and just jumps from toy to toy. She is such a loving dog. Even as I am typing this she is curled up at my side fast asleep. We couldn't be happier with the decision we made. She is the perfect dog and already a member of our family that we wouldn't know what to do without. She melts our hearts. I just wanted to say thank you so much and let you know what an awesome little girl you raised! - Kayla & Corey
"A Spoilt Little 'Angel"
Hi Shari! Thought you would enjoy a few pictures of our Angel. We so adore her. She took immediately to living full time in 38 feet of motorhome. Like us, she wants the temperature to be between 45 degrees and 80 degrees so she loves the mountains of New Mexico in the summer and the south Texas beaches in the winter (where we are right now). Hate to admit it but she is one very spoilt little girl. She grew up to be 8 1/2 pounds which is just a perfect size for us. Love the pictures of your puppies. Leona looks exactly like Angel. So wish I could have another Maltese but Miss Angel is so an only child and jealous of all dogs that come visit us. As I said, spoilt! Do not think she would willingly share us. Debi and Bill
The never ending story of Rocky... :)
Hi Shari,
We reconnected with our former groomer and Rocky got his first haircut last night. When he came out and was all poofed out we could not believe it. He is always cute but now he is even cuter. We will have to send you a picture as soon as we get them developed. The computer is still having problems so we can't put anything on line. Rocky also started his dog training. The trainer laughed so hard at him that we didn't get a whole lot done but he can sit on command now. You are right these dogs are very smart. He sure has brightened our lives. We will keep you posted on his adventures. Dot & Sandy

Hi Shari, We wanted to let you know that Rocky graduated from obedience school with flying colors. We are going to take a month break and then enroll him in the advance school where they teach the dogs to do tricks. He is so smart we didn't want to waste his brain. He is the hit of our Petco store. I believe every worker there knows him and it is a big Petco. One of the dog trainers who was working with him trains attack dogs and also drug sniffing dogs for the police. He said that there isn't anything Rocky couldn't learn. We really are enjoying having our little bundle of joy. We are still giving your cards out.

Sassy Sisters: Lacey & Roxie in their new home!
Lacey & Roxie doing great, car ride home went great. Great 1st night. They are doing great. They have been to vet once, all is good, they had a puppycut/bath about 10 days ago also. We will send more pics n vids in the upcoming days. Thanks - Becky
More Rocky Craziness! (Thank you Rocky's mommy for your words - you are too kind!)
Hi Shari,
Rocky went to the vet today. Rocky got a clean bill of health. He was scratching his ears because he had a lot of hair in his ears. He got another de-worming and a distemper vaccine. We also got the heart worm medicine and dental kit for him. The doctor trimmed his nails and cleaned out his ears. The staff just kept commenting on how well behaved and socialized he was. They were very impressed with his temperament. Also they looked over the info that you gave us. When we told them that we got to meet Rocky's mom and dad they were shocked. The vet said so many breeders do not do that. Some of the breeders just want to meet you on a parking lot somewhere. They are definitely putting you on their listing for referrals. The vet said that they get many requests for Maltese but some of the breeders that their clients have purchased dogs from actually got a mix and not a pure-bred Maltese like Rocky. The breeders though try and pass them off as a pure-bred.
We have to tell you something that Rocky did today. We put lids down for his food and water since he is so small right now. So today he meets me with his lid in his mouth and then he dropped it at my feet. That lid was for his water. So I filled it back up with water and put it down. He ran over and started drinking. I guess he was trying to tell me he wanted water and since I did not notice at first he had to show me. That was really smart.
Well Rocky is resting in the crate with his stuffed cow. He is a real sweet heart. Thanks again for all your hard work you did raising a well adjusted pup. If you need to give our number out to any potential buyer go ahead. Another thing the vet commented on was that a good breeder always encourages a buyer to get the puppy to a vet within a certain period just like you do. Sandy & Dot in St. Louis

Re-Adjusting Great, Rocky!
Hi Shari,
Well here is the deal. Lucky [previous pet] slept in my bed. We had Rocky in the crate and he is doing fine. We put him in if we are cooking supper or cleaning. As long as he sees us or hear us, he is fine. In fact, today mom had to go to the doctor and he was alone with the radio on in the crate for about 2 hours. When we came in he was playing in the crate. The bottom line is that we built a barricade on the bed and he is sleeping in my bed at night. I get up at 4:45 am and then he goes to mom's room and gets in bed with her. He even takes naps with us. If he wimpers, then then I know that he has to go out. He has had no accidents in the house.
Today we took him to Petco and everyone flipped out. A woman named Tanya asked if you still had any puppies left. She was very interested but I do not know her. So I am going to give her your phone number. She had scrubs on so I know that she works and she knew that Rocky was a Maltese.
All I can say, is that you did a great job socializing Rocky. He has adjusted so well. He entertains himself. He actually has gone into the crate to take naps. I got him a toy that looks like a long legged cow. It is probably over 36 inches stretched out and it is very soft. I thought maybe it would remind him of his siblings. He lays next to it or puts his head on a leg and falls to sleep. Right now he is sleeping on my lap. You were right, this breed is a real joy, but I believe their great personalities had a lot to do with the breeder. I sure hope that the children are doing okay with some of the pups gone. We were really worried about your daughter. We go to the vet tomorrow so we will keep you posted. - Sandy & Dot in St. Louis

'Chasing' after his big brother 'Stirling Rex': Chase Bannon - purebred Maltese
Hi,
Rex is coming around. I think they are both still figuring out each other, though. Today they chased each other around the ottomans in the living room, it was really cute. Rex has been sharing his pile of stick in the backyard and even offered up his coveted cookie monster to Chase the other day. He is a good boy and a good big brother!
Chase is doing good job with his potty training and has already figured out the back door to go outside. It’s so funny to see Rex’s mannerisms in Chase, too. He likes to rub his nose in the grass just like Rex does. And the other night they were both crashed out after playing; Rex stretched out on the couch next to me and Chase stretched out on my lap, both in the same position.
I’ll keep you up-to-date on the boys and send you some more pictures and videos, too :) - Lyle in Kansas City, MO

'The best things that's happened Maddie' - a purebred Maltese
_Hi Shari,
At 4 months Maddie weighs 2.9 lbs. We just went to the vet this past Wednesday and she had her rabies shot, so all her shots are up to date. She is such a loving furry ball! Maddie loves chasing after her chew toys. After she's done with her business outside, she races me home. She's so energetic at times. We live in an apartment so there's not much space but little Maddie can run around so fast! She also loves cuddling on the sofa next to us. She can't quite jump onto the couch completely without a climb but she makes the effort. She's so cute and adorable. Sometimes she chases her tail and barks at it. She is too cute! We love her so much! Maddie is such a good girl, she doesn't bark or struggle at all when I groom her. She's been meeting a lot of new people and she loves being with people. She's the best thing that's happened to us since my boyfriend and I've met! :) - Golee X. in Wisconsin

More Maddie! - Thank you Golee for the updates!
Hi Shari!
Just thought I let you know Maddie is doing wonderful! She knows how to go to the door now, when she needs to go potty! Such a smart little girl. No accidents for about two weeks now. We took her to a play date last week and she was a little shy and afraid of the other puppies but we're gonna take her again so she can get used to the socialization.

Gung Ho about Guster! - a maltipoo
Shari!,
Just wanted to give you your yearly update on Guster (maltipoo)! He just turned 3 the other week! He's growing up so fast! He is as healthy as ever! He remains another member of our family and brings us unconditional love and joy. Guster learned to roll over, sit, "dance", say "i love you" though we're still working on that one!
We had a birthday party for him the other weekend and even got him a
doggie cake to eat! (there's a picture below) He loves to go on hikes
with me and every Sunday when I go home to do laundry he cuddles up to
me while I sleep all day on the couch. I can't thank you enough for
giving us to him. He's the love of my life! I hope all is well with
you and the puppies!

'Motorhome Pro - Princess Angel' - a purebred Maltese
Hi Shari,
As I sit here on the couch with Angel sleeping on the back of the couch with her head resting on my shoulder, I have to tell you how in love we are with our little angel.
When we first left your house, she was a bit apprehensive and did some shaking. But within 15 minutes she settled down on my lap. We stopped to eat in Joplin and crated her while we ate. When we came back we were greeted joyously and since then she has fully adopted us. She is walking on a leash like a pro and is already going potty on command. She is learning that 'let's go home' means walk is over and she zooms toward the motorhome. She has explored all of the motorhome and stopped and ate her dinner. While walking she thinks everyone we meet should stop and pet her, and so far everyone has!
So looks like she is already becoming quite the princess! Please know she will be cherished!
Thank you for all the time you put in raising our Angel. It has resulted in a lovable pup with an adorable bounce in her step! - Debi and Bill
Angel slept tight against me last night. We woke her at 8:00 this morning! Love the way she zooms around the motorhome and then crashes! She met a cat yesterday at my son's and didn't understand why it wouldn't play with her. Oh and last night when on the bed she could look in the mirror. She got so excited thinking it was her siblings! When they won't come play with her, she gave the cutest woof trying to entice them out! Still cute as a button!
Happy Easter! - Debi and Bill

'Perfect Peyton in Obedience School' - a purebred Maltese
Hi Shari,
I am sorry I didn't reply to your email sooner. I meant to, but somehow it always slipped my mind. Thanks so much for letting me know that Peyton (Fiona) has some siblings! I was so tempted to get one myself. That little Baxter is a sweetie! I do have lots of people who would like some of Peyton's sisters, so if she ever has any, I would love to know. I do check your website frequently.
The teachers at my school had a puppy shower for me, and Peyton became very, very spoiled! I attached a picture of her with some of her new goodies. I thought you might like to see.
Peyton is doing great! She is in obedience school and is gifted (of course!) :-) She now weighs 4.2 pounds and is just as cute as ever. In fact, as I am typing this she is sitting on my lap. She loves to sit on my lap when I am at the computer. If you would ever like to see her when you are in town, you truly are welcome. Just give me a call or shoot me an email. I give you so much credit for helping to make her the wonderful pup that she is!
We all love her!
Take care, Karen - St. Louis Missouri

'Living in Luxury Lu Lu' - a pure bred Maltese
Hello!
I had a few pics from the ride home and last night I thought I would share with you. We took Lu Lu to the pet store on our way home to find a collar, picked out a hot pink one (it's a kitten collar) that has a bell, he said he wanted to make sure we always knew where she was lol. He picked pink because he knew it was my favorite color and he thought you would like it too ;)
She has been very good! She is a little love bug and loves her phone chew toy. She already has the idea of playing fetch and knows exactly where the treat jar is! I bet 7 or 8 people stopped us in the pet store to oogle over her and how cute she was. Levi did bring her up to dance class last night for the last couple minutes and the girls loved her. A couple of the moms couldn't believe she was real lol
I will send more pics later on and as she continues to grow. We have worked on brushing her hair, she watches Mia do it and then wants to be on my lap, it's just like a child watching her big sister. Mia always has a pony in her hair so I started early with Lu Lu too so she would like it when her hair gets nice and long. I also attached a picture of Mia so you can see my other baby and Lu Lu's big sister.

'Sitting Calm and Pretty Peyton' - a purebred Maltese
Hi Shari,
I thought I would send you an email to let you know how much everyone loves little Peyton Espn (Fiona). I took her to be groomed today, and everyone there just loves her. They all asked where I got her from, and I let them know about your kennel. Peyton is so good when I bring her to the groomer and vet (they are in the same building). Peyton will sit still and she is always so calm.
I thought you would like to know that the way you raise your babies is working. If you ever have more pups from the same mom and dad as Peyton, please let me know. I know of several people who would be interested in having any of Peyton's sisters!
I will send you a picture of Ms. Peyton! If you are ever in
the area, feel free to give me a call. You can always visit her!
Take care,
Karen

'Follows me everywhere' Oshie - a purebred Maltese
Hey Shari,
We went with Oshie for a name from Cameron! He has been great so far, he has had a few accidents in the house but other than that he is doing very well on going outside when he should. I put pictures of him on my facebook if you would like to view them. Tomorrow we are going to get his hair trimmed a bit and then Wednesday he is going to the vet, so once I know how much he weighs I will email you. He was kind of shy at first around my roommates and friends, but now he is getting used to them and is so playful! He is awesome. Oshie follows me around everywhere, Stephanie thinks it is funny how he follows me and will come to me instead of everyone else including her. I will most definitely keep you updated and Stephanie and I will be uploading pictures on facebook very often. If you want me to email you pictures just tell me. Thank you sooo much for everything!!!! -Carl, Columbia Missouri

'Amazing Oshie on car rides' - a purebred Maltese
Hey Shari!
He was amazing on the ride home, we stopped through a drive through and took him to go potty he then we headed home. He slept/laid down almost the entire way. He is fantastic already! Thank you so much! I do have one question, we can change his name right? I think we were thinking of Oshie. It is a little different, but we got it from a blues hockey players last name, TJ Oshie.
Once again, thank you very much! - Carl & Stephanie, Columbia, Missouri

'Spoiled and Busy Rex' - a purebred Maltese
Hi Shari,
Rex went to the vet on Monday, August 23 for his exam. The vet said he was in good health. He weighed 3.3 pounds. He will be going back for his next round of shots in a couple of weeks.
He has been pretty busy meeting new people and going to new places. He has met the neighbors on both sides of the yard. We have some brand new neighbors who moved in about 2 weeks ago and they have a female Maltese that is about 12 months old. They like to run along the fence together. He spent the day with my parents this past Saturday while my nephew and I built a little porch on the side of their house. Mom and Dad both have taken to him. My sister and niece stopped by to see him and spoiled him with a few more chew toys and a blanket. He has met a couple of my co-workers as well. The office is just down the street so it is pretty easy coming home for lunch to let him out and play.
There are a couple of steps off the deck to the patio which he learned pretty fast. The neighbor behind us has a big dog, it barked, and he was up the steps in a blink of an eye. Let’s see, what else? He got a bath the other day, and we went for our first walk around the block this evening.
I have attached a couple of pictures of him from over the pass week. There’s one of him snoozing with Mr. Blue, a couple of him napping on the kitchen rug, (cookie monster is his bunkmate at night) and a few other miscellaneous pictures. Feel free to post any of them on your website. I have also posted a video of him on Facebook if you want to check that out and will probably upload a few more pictures/videos for my FB friends to check out.
Well, I think that’s about all for now. He has been a really good pup, thanks so much!!

'Well prepared pup Annie' - a purebred Maltese
Hi Shari....
I am curious to know how often you are comfortable bathing your dogs without harming their coat? I get various answers and thought I would ask you.
You do a great job in preparing these puppies to go to a new home. Everything is going well.

'Loves to be cuddled 'Annie' - a purebred Maltese
Dear Shari....
Wanted to let you know that we took Annie (Annikki) to the vet today and she weighed in at 3lbs 7oz's. She is doing very well. She came to our home acting like she has been here all along. She has been the easiest puppy I have been around. She loves being outside, likes her crate (I got a bigger one), loves to be cuddled and will take a nice nap on the couch with me! What more could a person ask for?
It was really nice to meet you.
Thanks,
Pam and Bill, Springfield, Missouri

'The Amazing Telly' - a Maltipoo
Shari-
I want to extend a huge thank you for Telly! At almost 9 months, she is the most amazing puppy and people are constantly stopping me on the street asking me where I got her. So much so that when I left her with my Dad for 2 weeks while going on vacation, my parents now want a dog just like her...which is why I'm writing. I am sure that your waiting list is once again very long but I was hoping to get them on the list and see when you are expecting puppies again.
Thanks for my amazing dog! You really helped make such a difference in my family. Now everyone is Telly obsessed.

Crimpin' Chloe: a Maltipoo
Hello,
I just wanted to drop you a line about chloe. She currently weighs 5.2 pounds, and her hair is going through an awkward '80s phase. Some areas are curly and others look like they have been crimped...ohh how I remember the days...haha. She is a wonderful addition to our family. We love her! She has been doing really good about her house training, the only time she has an accident is when my husband goes back to work on the first night. She takes naps on his chest, and loves his slippers! She is wonderful with others dogs, our friends just got a yorkiepoo, his name is Murray, and they love to play together. Murray is only a few weeks older than Chloe. We are planning to get her fixed in December or the beginning of January, it just depends on our holiday schedule. I hope you have a Happy Halloween, and no chloe is not being dressed up, however she did get a sweater and she loves wearing that. I will send pictures soon. Thanks again!
